In Aisla, a class is a specific group of students who are in the same grade, or attend the same class together. Creating a class is necessary to organize and manage assignments effectively for these students.

To create a class, follow the steps outlined below:

1. In your home page, click on the plus button (+) at the bottom right.
2. Give your class a brief name and description.
3. Click on Create Class at the bottom.
4. Give the access code to your students so that they can enroll.

You may want to update or correct a class' details. In Aisla you can manually edit the class' name, its description and its access code.

To do so, follow the steps below:

1. In your home page, click on the class you want to edit. You will be taken to the Class Management page.
2. Click on the settings button in the top right corner.
3. Select Edit class details.
4. You can edit your class' name, its details or its access code.
5. When you're done, click on Save.

If you accidentally created a class or no longer need it, you can delete it as follows:

1. In your home page, click on the class you want to delete. You will be taken to the Class Management page.
2. Click on the settings button in the top right corner.
3. Select Delete class.
4. To confirm, click on Delete.

A student may have enrolled in your class by mistake.

In this case, you can remove him or her by following these steps:

1. First, click on the class you want to remove the student from.
2. Click on the Manage Students button in the left.
3. Find the student you want to remove and click on the button beside their name.
4. To confirm, click on Remove.

1. Click on the class you want to create assignment for.
2. In the Class Management page, click on Manage Assignments in the left menu.
3. Click the plus button (+) in the bottom right corner.
4. Give your assignment a name and, if you want, add some instructions.
5. Choose the tasks you want your students to practice with.
6. Pick a start date for when your students will receive the assignment.
7. Set a deadline for when the assignment should be completed.

You can edit an assignment as long as it hasn't started yet. If it has already been released, students may have already begun working on it.

However, if the assignment's start date is still in the future, you can edit its details by following the steps below.

1. In the Class Management page, click on Manage Assignments in the left menu.
2. Click the setting button in the top right corner.
3. Select Edit details.
4. Now you are able to change the assignment's name, instructions, start date and deadline.
5. When you're done, click on Save.

You can delete an assignment as long as it hasn't started yet. If it has already been released, this means your students may have already started it, so it can no longer be deleted.

If the start date of the assignment you want to delete is in the future, you can delete it by following the steps below.

1. In the Class Management page, click on Manage Assignments in the left menu.
2. Click the setting button in the top right corner.
3. Select Edit details.
4. Now you are able to change the assignment's name, instructions, start date and deadline.
5. When you're done, click on Save.

As a teacher, you may want to try out a task yourself to ensure it contains appropriate grammar and vocabulary. This helps you provide the best learning experience for your students.

Here’s how to try out a task:

1. In your home page, click on the menu.
2. Select the All tasks option.
3. Click the task you want to try.
4. Close the instructions to start the task.
5. If you need help with the tasks, click on the question mark in the top right corner.

It is important to keep track of students' task submissions to monitor their progress and ensure they're on track with their assignments. By regularly checking submission statuses, teachers can provide timely feedback, identify students who might need extra help, and maintain an organized overview of class activities. In Aisla, you can see have an overview of all students and their task submission per assignment, or you can see the submission status to a specific task.

Here's how you can easily manage and review task submissions:

1. In the Class Management page, click on Manage Assignments.
2. To see which task each student has submitted, click on To Submission overview in the bottom of the assignment.
3. If you wish to see all submissions to one specific task, click on the task itself

Providing feedback on a student's submission is a crucial part of the learning process. It helps students understand their strengths and areas for improvement, fosters their academic growth, and keeps them motivated. Timely and constructive feedback also supports a positive teacher-student relationship.

Here’s how you can easily send feedback on a student’s submission:

1. In the Assignment Management page, click on the task itself or on "To submissions overview".
2. Click on Evaluate beside the submission you want to provide feedback on.
3. Click on Provide feedback at the bottom of the screen.
4. Enter a grade and a comment.
5. Click on Send.

Joining a class in Aisla is super easy!

Follow these steps to enroll in your class and start practicing:

1. In your home page, click on the menu.
2. Select My Classes.
3. Click on Join a class at the bottom right of the screen.
4. Enter the access code provided by your teacher.
5. Click on Enroll.

Here is how it works to start and submit a task to your teacher:

1. To start a task, simply click on it.
2. After reading the instructions, close them and the task will start automatically.
3. In order to listen to the messages, click on them.
4. Answer by typing your message or click the microphone and speak to get it transcribed.
5. If you need help, click on the question mark in the top right corner. There, you can revisit the instructions, watch an example video or ask Aisla for hints

When your teacher sends you feedback on a task, a purple checkmark will appear on its top right corner.

Here’s how you can easily check the feedback your teacher has given you:

1. Click on the task in your home page.
2. If you close the feedback window, click on the button in the top right corner to see it again.
